Get the Message Out
John Whitehead and Rita, world renowned recording artists, joined hands
to sing a World song "Let Freedom Ring" at the 30th Anniversary March
on Washington. John was well known for his inspirational message songs
and wrote among others: "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now", "Wake Up
Everybody", "Let Freedom Ring", and with the assistance of Arnold
Beizer, John's last song soon to be another hit, "Ray Of Hope".
Rita, whose new English language CD is released by POWER MUSIC,
lends her heavenly voice to the cause of freedom on a new arrangement
of the Let Freedom Ring song to be released in 2010 and Rita also sings
Ray Of Hope, a catchy pop
song that everyone will be singing along with her. The Ray Of Hope song by Rita will be released on
her upcoming Love
Has Begun album > www.lovehasbegun.com/
The
theme of "Freedom" was selected by the French Gold Medal Ice Dancing
Team at the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake, while the World Champion
Russian Ice Dancing pair skated to Rita's hit single, "A Time for
Peace". It's time for the message of Peace and Freedom to be heard the
world over and for Rita to bring John's message songs to the masses.
Regardless of who you are or where you are in the world, no matter what
race, creed, color, religion or nationality, we are all
One Nation Under God!
Listen and join in as Rita sings Let
Freedom Ring. "We've got no time to hate...it's time we set
things straight...
in this world as great as ours.
Saxophonist

Feeling Free. Paul Berman is best known for his powerful playing
and rich sound. When Paul plays, "It's A Beautiful Thing!"
(song #6 on CD).

and his "MESSAGES":
Nominated

acclaimed singer and songwriter with 37 gold and platinum albums to his
credit. He was most famous for his song, "Ain't No Stoppin'
Us Now". A new CD album is complete and soon to be

before released. -The Messages are awaiting an audience. You can help
send a message for which the world is waiting. John Whitehead's
messages have something for everyone. His songs appeal across the board
and will cross over.
Look
around, what do you see? America is not what it ought be.
Crime, violence, alcohol and drug abuse, hatred and greed . . . from
these social ills we must be free.
John
Whitehead delivers the Messages. Music can touch the heart where
words alone have trouble reaching. Many of John's songs contain
messages because music is the Universal language that can carry
messages of love, hope, trust and compassion to the masses. It
has been written that "people who make music together cannot really be
enemies at least while the music lasts" - so let the music play.
John
Whitehead was a star and a proven commodity with a track record of hit
songs. He wrote hits for Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls, The
Jacksons, The O Jays, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, The Intruders,
Billy Paul, Jean Carne and many more. John has a devoted
following all over the world. Whether talking to a cabbie in
London or listening to the radio on a Tel Aviv beach, everyone knows
John's songs.
He appeared on the PBS (Public Broadcasting
System)
live show "MY MUSIC" from Atlantic city featuring the sound of
Philadelphia. John also was seen on the Oprah Winfrey Show and VH-1
channel broadcast special featuring McFadden and Whitehead.
John
Whitehead's Messages CD
showcases Rita, Israel's singing sensation. John Whitehead, a music
legend, and Rita of Israel, team up on the Messages album. The Messages CD contains many potential hit
songs with timely messages. This music project can help to change the
world through Music From the
Heart of America.
John's voice is special - Barry White, Sam Cooke, Lou Rawls, Luther
Vandross - all rolled into one, but with his own unique style.
John Whitehead was a great performer in concert whether at home in
Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, or out on the road at
Connecticut's Foxwoods Casino, in New York City, Atlantic City, Boca
Raton, Chicago or Los Angeles. John will be missed but his songs live
on.
